Just getting warmed up. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Great Works River, and a visit to close by Prebbles Point is very relaxing. Get your heart beating on the good whitewater   of Atlantic Ocean. A great deal of rainfall falls at Long Beach; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summertime highs at Long Beach usually tend to be in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Long Beach.
