You can run the rapids of East Machias River next to Little Pond Beach, and a splendid location close by is Little Ledge. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Sandy River Beach; you should pop by Rhine Point when you're here. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Everybody loves Roque Bluffs State Park; there is a tremendous hiking trail close by called the Mud Hole Trail. Little Pond Beach is a reasonably   wet place regularly with much precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that snows the most, and the driest month is August. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Little Pond Beach reach the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Little Pond Beach sink into the 0's.
