the Mud Hole Trail is tremendous fun. You just should have a thing about Little Pond Beach. Natt Point is pretty close to Little Pond Beach, and if you come at the right time of year, East Machias River offers some perfect whitewater. Little Pond Beach mostly gets a great deal
of rainfall; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow; the driest month of the year is August. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Little Pond Beach. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Little Pond Beach tend to be in the 0's.
