There are more things to do here other than just hanging out at the beach like whitewater paddling, boating, swimming, fishing, and hiking, so one won't run out of amusing stuff to do. You could have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to spend a night, but do reserve a room previous to going as it is a very popular destination. Beach in Washington County, Maine is such a magnificent place. Wavy water and the seaside is a panorama worth seeing. Northern Inlet has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; you must visit Bucks Harbor when you're here. Roque Bluffs State Park is a wonderful place to check
| | out on a pretty day, and a nice place to stop by nearby is Seashore Ledge. A cool spot to check out close to Jasper Beach is Jasper Head, and a day at charming Grays Beach near Jasper Beach is a fine thing to do. In the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chase Mills Stream, and time spent at Jasper Beach is always great. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do right next door to Jasper Beach. Don't forget to take a look at Bucks Neck since you're here at Jasper Beach, and the view of Mount Aetna is striking. | |

The Mud Hole Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Jasper Beach. Jasper Beach usually gets a great deal of rainfall; during December this area sees the most snow; the driest of the months is August. During the summertime at Jasper Beach temperatures are usually in the 70's, and
all through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs all through the winter are regularly in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Jasper Beach temperatures plunge to the 0's.
