The Seaside Brook Trail offers hiking at its best; The Cleft is something you shouldn't miss since you're here. Get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Branch Lake Stream, and Lamoine State Park is a good spot to go to on a wonderful day. Ingraham Point is pretty in the vicinity of Hunters Beach, and a cool spot to have a look at is Rhodes Cliff. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hunters Beach; Day Mountain Trail is a pleasant local trail; you are in the neighborhood of Hunters Beach Cove since you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Union River, and       why not take a little tour to Hunters Brook while you're here. The trees of The Black Woods are a delightful source of shade on hot summer days; the view of Day Mountain is charming.
