| | Dunn Beach is not a tremendously visited slice of shoreline, but it indisputably is a perfect beach. The touching of the water and the Maine shore is a panorama worth seeing. You may have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to stay an extra day, but you'd better book in advance of a trip because these hotels fill up swiftly throughout the days of summer. selection of beaches. As if Dunn Beach wasn't enough you can also go boating, hiking, swimming, fishing, and whitewater paddling, so being short of things to do won't happen. Dodges Point is right next door to Dunn Beach and is a magnificent place to stop at, and the top of Hopkins
| | Hill is easily seen from Dunn Beach. Dunn Beach is right by the Bald Mountain Trail, and float down the rapids of Union River in a kayak. There's some flowing water close by, Turtle Brook is a stream you can visit during your stay, and Jesse Beach is a delightful beach to pop by. Turtle Cove is not far from Dunn Beach at all, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a journey to close by Lamoine State Park.
