| | Black Beach doesn’t have many services, but it is a magnificent shelter from the city. Not too many places to stay in the neighborhood, you'll have to go a bit to get to one, but do book a room before heading out given that it is a very popular destination. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds nearby. It's very bad for you to spend all your time indoors; you've got to get out of the house now and then, and Black Beach in Hancock County, Maine is a brilliant spot to go. to do in the vicinity of Black Beach including boating, swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so you will not be deficient in amusing stuff to do. As long as you love beaches you will love Maine. Redman Brook is a glorious site to visit, and going for a hike on the
| | Bar Island Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Narraguagus River - West Branch has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there are great places to explore along the Jessup Trail. Lamoine State Park is both magnificent and lovely, and it's close to Black Beach, and don't leave Black Beach without first going for a hike along the Kebo Mountain Trail. You are in close proximity to Cape Rosier since you're here at Black Beach, and Schoodic Beach is a striking beach to check out. it would be. The peak of Schoodic Mountain can be seen from Black Beach, and while you're here you have to explore Schoodic Bay. Paddling on Narraguagus River is so much fun; Acadia National Park is one of the destinations that are brilliant to check out close by. For the duration
of the days of summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Black Beach, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are frequently in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Black Beach. Black Beach gets a good deal of water; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is August.
