You are right next door to Cape Rosier if you're here at Black Beach, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Narraguagus River - West Branch. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great world it would be. The summit of Schoodic Mountain can be seen from Black Beach, and paddling on Narraguagus River is so much fun. Do pay a visit to Acadia National Park if you're here at Black Beach, and a spree       here wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by Lamoine State Park. The high level of precipitation makes Black Beach a relatively wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain while August is ordinarily the driest month. All through the   warmest time of the year at Black Beach highs are usually in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Black Beach temperatures dip to the 10's.
