Here at Black Beach you can see Schoodic Mountain, and Lamoine State Park is a delightful location any time of year. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Bar Island Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Narraguagus River. And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do in the vicinity of Black Beach. Going for a hike along the Jessup Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty   of this area; hey, Redman Brook is a glorious local stream. If the weather is fine here at Black Beach, you can go for a hike along the Kebo Mountain Trail, and taking a little journey to close by Cape Rosier is a brilliant idea. Black Beach gets a great deal of water; November is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is August. Summertime highs at Black Beach commonly tend to be in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Black Beach fall into the 10's.
