Don't forget to go to High Head since you're here at Birchhead Shore; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Branch Lake Stream. Man, is there heaps of enjoyable stuff to do in   the neighborhood of Birchhead Shore. Holbrook Island Sanctuary State Park is a great place to pop by on a delightful day.
