Big Beach doesn’t get a lot of visitors, but when you are here for a while you will feel like a whole new person. As if Big Beach wasn't sufficient you can also go boating, swimming, and fishing, so one will not be short of entertaining things to do. Maine has so much to offer beach lovers. If by chance you come to this slice of coastline, you will have fun for sure. If you want to hit the beach, Little Beach is nearby, and from Big Beach you get a nice view of Fort Hill. Why not have a look     at Spicers Cove also if you're here; the scenery at Little Ossipee Pond Dam is picturesque. Taking a little trip to close by Spring Cove is a delightful idea, and Cliff House Beach is quite close by if you're in a beach type of mood. Pond Cove Brook flows through this region; since you're here, you might as well check out Catfish Rock. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Two Lights State Park is both good and pretty, and it's near Big Beach. Big Beach is a pretty wet place typically with a lot of rainfall; November is when you get the most rain here while August is generally the driest month. Summer at Big Beach comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
