You have to get a permit from Anne Arundel County Department of Parks and Recreation     to get it and access is limited.  Mayo beach is open to the public only Sunday afternoons in summertime Says jovet Ready to get down to the beach, Triton Beach in Anne Arundel County, Maryland is a nice selection. Triton Beach doesn’t get a lot of visitors, but it is one of many great sections of shoreline in this vicinity. In Maryland you'll never lack beach fun. Some of the pursuits here are boating, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so being bored is not something that is expected to happen. The way the water meets this section of coastline outdoes anything. This piece of coast is an excellent spot to go to. If by chance you're a camper you can pitch that tent at one of the perfect campgrounds nearby. There's some flowing water nearby, South River is a stream you can explore while here, and nearby you find   Saunders Point. Everybody loves Sandy Point State Park; West River is around here and always delightful to pop by. An exciting thing to go to close to Triton Beach is Anchor Yacht Basin, and you can hit the beach if you want, Bare Neck Shore is practically right here. On a great day it's a fine idea to spend the day at Mayo Beach. For the period of the days of summer at Triton Beach highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's; night lows in the 20's for Triton Beach.
