Finally, beach time is here once more, and Sound Shore in Somerset County, Maryland is a nice place to go. You could have to settle for a hotel a far away from the beach if you want to stay for a few days, and if you make reservations before you go you're all set. For the period of the summertime months at Sound Shore temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Sound Shore temperatures descend to the 20's. Sound Shore sees pretty high levels of precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout August; the driest of the months is November. | |
