Not far from Whales Beach you hit upon Lincoln House Point, and on a nice day it's a pleasant idea to spend the day at Phillips Beach. Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a splendid local destination here at Whales Beach, and a golf course nearby is Tedesco Country Club Grounds. At Whales Beach during the long summer days highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's while Whales Beach nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's.
