Beaches are great; and Singing Beach right next door to West Beach is no exception; playing golf is lots of fun at Lakeview Golf Club. Not far from West Beach you find Chubb Point, and if you have time, Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is a national park worth a visit. If only every spot had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great globe it would be. Golf can be played at Wenham Country Club; a glorious beach close by is Mingo Beach. Chubb Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to, and a perfect spot for       whitewater paddling is Cohasset Tidal Rip. At West Beach you always meet someone from Boston-Cambridge-Quincy, and a round of golf at nearby Cape Anne Golf Course is a good way to kill some time. All the water falling down from the sky makes West Beach a wet place; of all the months   in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is August. Through the warm months at West Beach temperatures are frequently in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to West Beach.
