Beach. A golf course next to Veterans Park Beach is Blue Rock Par 3 Golf Course, and Hyannis Inner Harbor is a delightful site, absolutely worth stopping at. Places like Nickerson State Park are splendid to visit; if you want to hit the beach, Kalmas Park Beach is in the neighborhood.

During the winter highs are regularly in the 30's with temperatures at Veterans Park Beach dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
