There's so much cool stuff to do near Town Beach including swimming, boating, golfing, hiking, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to occur. There aren’t any hotels in the vicinity but if you're ready to travel a small distance then no problem but you'd better book before you go since these hotels fill up quick through the warm months. Massachusetts has scores of beaches. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds close by. |

If the weather is pleasant here at Town Beach, you can go for a hike along the Red Maple Swamp Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Barnstable Town here. Nothing beats kicking back at Point of Rocks Landing Beach, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Buttonbush Trail. falls at Town Beach; November is when you get the most rain here, and July is when it's the driest. Through the warm months at Town Beach temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Town Beach temperatures drop to the 20's.
