Scraggy Neck is nearby and always fine to pop by; enjoy a round of golf at Bay Pointe Country Club. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Take a side trip to Wild Harbor River, and Harney Paul       Ashumet Valley Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by. If you want to hit the beach, Sunrise Beach is close by. Throughout the summertime, highs regularly are in the 80's at Southwest Beach while night lows are generally in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come   with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Southwest Beach. The high level of precipitation makes Southwest Beach a relatively wet site; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most, and June is the month with the least moisture.
