the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 30's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Salt Box Beach descend into the 10's. Salt Box Beach gets a good deal of water; November is the month that gets the most rain while July is commonly the driest month.
