The close by rooms are fairly away from the beach, but do book a room prior to departure given that it is a very popular destination. For all you camping folks there are campgrounds in the vicinity. A segment of coast such as this is too great to pass up. Some pursuits here are boating, fishing, hiking, golfing, and swimming, so     there's no way to get bored. A tour to Massachusetts is not complete without some time spent on the beach. If you crave a little side spree, try Lombard Hollow; glorious hiking is available along the Small Swamp Trail. The peak of Bound Brook Island can be distinguished from Ryder Beach; if you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Chequessett Yacht & Country Club. Beaches are brilliant; and Fisher Beach near Ryder Beach is no exception; you can go for a hike on the Great Island Trail. For you golfers we recommend nearby Highland Golf, and Pamet River is one of the streams close by that might be worth stopping at. This place, Ryder Beach, it truly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Everybody loves Nickerson State Park; if you're looking for a tremendous tour, Cape Cod National Seashore is reasonably near. Why not pop       by The Gut also since you're here, and do visit Pamet Harbor since you're here. Don't leave Ryder Beach without first going for a hike along the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail, and a great beach close by is Duck Harbor Beach. You'll meet a lot of folks from Barnstable Town here. Ryder   Beach is a rather wet place mostly with a good deal of rainfall; November is the month that gets the most rain, and July is when it's the driest. At Ryder Beach during the summer months highs are in the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Ryder Beach.
