Parkwood Beach doesn’t have a lot of conveniences, but it's one of those locations where everything is nice. The convergence of the water and the seaboard outshines anything. With so many beaches in Massachusetts you'll not ever become bored. The nearby lodgings are rather far away from the beach, but do reserve a room in advance of a trip given that it is a very popular destination. This beach is so glorious. nearby such as fishing, boating, golfing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so becoming bored is not something that is expected to take place. There's camping on hand next to Parkwood Beach. From Parkwood Beach you get a nice panorama of Wankinco Neck, and Barneys Point is not
| | far at all. On a wonderful day you can check out Nobska Beach near Parkwood Beach, and don't forget to go to Quasuet Point while you're here. Going to Pilgrim Memorial State Park (Plymouth Rock) close to Parkwood Beach is a great thing to do; Quahog Bar is another good place to visit nearby. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Marion Golf Club is in the neighborhood, and a day at beautiful Minot Forest Beach close to Parkwood Beach is a great thing to do. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Parkwood Beach. | |

| | time. High temperatures at Parkwood Beach throughout the days of summer are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while Parkwood Beach nighttime low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 10's. Parkwood Beach gets a good deal of water; during November this area sees the most rain; June is the month with the least moisture. |
