There's lots of outdoors recreation available nearby such as golfing, boating, fishing, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so it's impossible to become bored. You can pitch that tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Massachusetts is a wonderful beach state. This is a fine segment of shoreline. out. All our national parks are good sites to pop by, and Boston Harbor Islands National Recreation Area is no exception, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Gas House Basin. Haste Shoal is a tremendous site to explore nearby, and close by you come across Curtis
| | Point. Atlantic Ocean is a glorious whitewater spot in close proximity to Mingo Beach, and golf can be played at Kernwood Country Club Golf Course. You can run the rapids of Cohasset Tidal Rip close to Mingo Beach, and you are near Smith Point if you're here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you're a golfer then a glorious close by course is Lakeview Golf Club, and a trip to Willowdale State Forest is a great idea. Rocks is delightful and can be distinguished from Mingo Beach, and nothing beats kicking back at Patch Beach. Mingo Beach gets a great deal of water; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and August on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at

| | Mingo Beach regularly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mingo Beach descend into the 10's. |
