and on a glorious day it's a splendid idea to spend the day at Duck Harbor Beach. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Highland Golf is close by, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Pamet Cranberry Bog Trail. Nickerson State Park is a brilliant
site to stretch your legs a bit; Chequessett Yacht & Country Club is a good golf course close by. The Buttonbush Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Mayo Beach, and taking a little journey to close by Duck Creek is a brilliant idea. There's just no way someone
can get bored here at Mayo Beach. Mayo Beach frequently gets a large amount of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain while July is commonly the driest month. During the warm months highs here at Mayo Beach get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 20's for Mayo Beach.
