| | Little Beach is a spot where you won’t see full-size crowds, but it's one of those places where everything is good. A section of shore such as this is too good to pass up. The close by hotel rooms are a little away from the beach, but do reserve a room prior to departure because it is a very popular destination. There are campgrounds rather close to the piece of coast where you can raise that tent of yours. | | to Horseneck Beach State Reservation and Campground when you're here is never a bad idea. And that's not all there is to do here in the Wind River Range. A day at East Horseneck Beach close to Little Beach is time well spent; Pinnacle Rock is clearly visible from Little Beach. This ski area is a pleasant place to visit. rain; the month with most of the rain is November; June is the month with the least moisture. At Little Beach throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 30's while Little Beach nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's.
