Race, and Wendell State Forest is both perfect and pretty. While you're here at Horse Race you will meet lots of folks from close by Springfield, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Sunset Trail. If you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Country Club

All the water falling down from the sky makes Horse Race a wet spot; through November this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
