day on the beach at Black Beach. A cool spot to stop at near Graves Beach is Town Head; a round of golf at nearby Candlewood Golf Club is a good way to kill some time. Wolf Trap Branch is a glorious local stream. The high level of rain makes Graves Beach a relatively wet place;
the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is August. High temperatures at Graves Beach during the days of summer are in the 80's; the night is a tad colder of course, generally in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Graves Beach through the wintertime commonly dip into the 10's.
