Cape Anne Golf Course; Wolf Trap Branch is near Black Beach and is always a joy to explore. Cohasset Tidal Rip is a wonderful whitewater spot near Black Beach; Black Beach is near Middle Ground which is positively worth going to. Halibut Point State Park is a nice place to stretch

Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Black Beach.
