Lime Kiln Point is in close proximity to Maywood Beach and is a fine place to stop by, and you can go for a hike on the Barney Peterson Memorial Trail. Maywood Beach is a site with many visitors from Spirit Lake, and great hiking is available along the Horseshoe Bend Trail. If you're here at Maywood Beach, do take a spree to Browns Bay; a day at beautiful Bay View Beach close to Maywood Beach is a good thing to do.
