| | Hawaii is a perfect spot for beach folks. The convergence of the water and the wonderful Hawaii coastline is such a delightful vista. For all you camping people there are campgrounds around here. This is such an enjoyable piece of shore. Waiakalua Nui Beach doesn’t have lots of conveniences, but it is one of many tremendous slices of shore in this region. You may have to settle for a hotel a far from the beach if you want to stay an extra day, but do book a room in advance of a trip given that it is a very popular destination. A trip to nearby Kilauea Bay is very relaxing, and the good folks of Kapaa like to hang out close by. Don't leave Waiakalua Nui Beach without first going for a hike along the Kalalau Trail, and if you want to hit the beach, Waiakalua Iki Beach is in the vicinity.
