Poolenalena is not far from Poolenalena Beach at all, and stopping by Haleakala National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. Going for a hike on the Sliding Sands Trail is always a nice adventure, and golf can be played at Elleair Maui Golf Club. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Poolenalena Beach is so good! Near Poolenalena Beach you find the Lower Trail which is a good hiking trail, and one of the best things about this spot is its proximity to Palauea Beach. | |

Here at Poolenalena Beach there are plenty of folks from Kahului-Wailuku, and Pepeiaolepo Point is very near and is a splendid site to check out. A lot of precipitation falls at Poolenalena Beach; January is the wettest month with most rain; September meanwhile is the driest month.
