This part of Hawaii has a great choice of beaches. This segment of shoreline is an excellent place to stop by. There aren’t any places to stay around here but if you're ok to travel a short length then no problem but do reserve a room previous to going since it is a very popular destination. At last, beach time has come again; Pilaa Beach in Kauai County, Hawaii is such a perfect place. |

Pilaa Beach is not an enormously visited beach, but when you are here for a while you will feel like a whole new person. Enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Waiakalua Iki Beach; if you feel like a little side journey, try Pohaku Malumalu. Why not check out nearby Waipake Stream if

There is a fine hiking trail in the neighborhood of Pilaa Beach called the Mhihi Waialae Trail; Kepuhi Point is very near and is a great place to pop by. Near Pilaa Beach you discover the Alakai Swamp Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Hanalei. All the water falling down from the sky makes Pilaa Beach a wet site; March is the wettest month with most rain, and September on the other hand is the driest. |
