Going for a hike along the Halawa Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and Oneawa Beach sits in the shade of the Oneawa Hills. Take a side trip to Maunawili Stream; if you're here you can take a hike along the Castle Trail. So much fun stuff near Oneawa Beach, completely impressive. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Luana Hills Country Club is close by; beaches are fine and Kalama Beach is no exception. A round of golf at   nearby Olomana Golf Links is a nice way to kill some time, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Honolulu. Bay View Golf Park Golf Course is a pleasant golf course nearby, and do schedule some time to explore Kailua Bay if you have a chance. If the weather is glorious here at Oneawa Beach, you can go for a hike along the Sacred Falls Trail. Oneawa Beach sees pretty high levels of rainfall; most of the rain falls all through November, and September is the month with the least moisture. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Oneawa Beach.
