Mauna KEA Golf Course not far from Mauumae Beach, and there are nice places to explore along the Kawaihae-Puu Hue Trail. But wait, there's more to do close to Mauumae Beach. Puukohol can be seen from Mauumae Beach, and taking a little tour to close by Keawehala Point is a splendid
idea. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Wind River Range. Waikoloa Beach Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby, and Kaluhikaa Beach is relatively nearby if you're in a beach type of mood. The surroundings of this ski area
have so much to offer. While you're here at Mauumae Beach you can play some golf at Hapuna Beach Prince Hotel Golf Course; you can hit the beach if you want, Waiulaula Beach is practically right here. The warmest time of the year at Mauumae Beach arrives with high temperatures
in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 70's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 70's; nighttime lows at Mauumae Beach through the wintertime ordinarily dip into the 60's. Mauumae Beach gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
