A trip to Ka'ena Point State Park when you're here at Mkua Beach is never a bad idea, and close by you come across the Peacock Flat Trail which is a great hiking trail. Makaha Valley Country       Club is a good golf course close by, and a pleasant place to stop at nearby is Makua Valley. Mkua Beach gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; January is the wettest month with most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs   in the 80's to Mkua Beach with night lows in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 70's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Mkua Beach tend to be in the 50's.
