There are lots of rooms here if you want to stay an extra day, but do reserve a room prior to departure in view of the fact that it is a very popular destination. | | things about this location is its proximity to Waianukole. The scenery at Lahaina Boat Harbor right next door to Makila is pretty, and you'll meet a lot of folks from Kahului-Wailuku here. Spend the day on the beach at Lahaina Beach while you're here at Makila, and some of the water nearby flows, like Kauaula Stream. A splendid site like 'Iao Valley State Monument in the vicinity of Makila is too good to leave out.
