A visit to Makila wouldn’t be complete without a tour to close by 'Iao Valley State Monument. Through the summer here at Makila, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 70's with winter lows in the 50's overnight here at Makila. All the water falling down from the sky makes Makila a wet spot; January is when you get the most rain here, and September meanwhile is the driest month. | |
