If you want to hit the beach, Puu Alii Beach is close by, and Makalei Hawaii Country Club is a glorious golf course close by. Kuili is easy to spot from Makalawena Beach, and Mahaiula Beach is pretty close by if you're in a beach type of mood. So much exciting stuff near Makalawena Beach, just phenomenal. You are near Kawikohale Point while you're here at Makalawena Beach, and since you're here you must have a look at Puu Alii Bay. The warmest time of the year at Makalawena Beach       comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are frequently in the 70's. Through the winter highs are in the 70's; winter nights come with lows in the 60's to Makalawena Beach.
