Trail is tremendous fun; if you're interested in cool geologic highlights try Lava Flow of 1801. For the duration of the summertime at Makalawena Beach temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 70's,
