There aren’t any hotels around     here but if you're willing to journey a small length then no problem and if you make reservations previous to going you're all set. Kolokolo Point is not far from Lumahai Beach at all, and Kepuhi Beach is a pretty beach to stop at. Don't leave Lumahai Beach without first going for a hike along the Kalalau Trail, and don't forget to take a look at Makahoa Point if you're here. There are fine locations to look at along the Alakai Swamp Trail, and a day at stunning Waikoko Beach next to Lumahai Beach is a pleasant thing to do. Hanalei has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and enjoy a round of golf at Princeville Golf Club. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Lumahai Beach. A quick trip to Lumahai River near Lumahai Beach is a glorious idea, and Lumahai Beach is close to Ha'ena State   Park which is a charming site. Lumahai Valley is a glorious spot to go to close by, and splendid hiking is available along the Mhihi Waialae Trail. Here at Lumahai Beach there are plenty of people from Kapaa, and the peak of Puu Ka Manu can be spotted from Lumahai Beach. If you want to take a look at some exciting stuff, take a look at Makaihuwaa. Lumahai Beach is a location that is relatively waterless typically; January is the wettest month with most rain while July is frequently the driest month. For the duration of the warm months at Lumahai Beach temperatures are mostly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 60's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Lumahai Beach temperatures fall to the 40's.
