A quick visit to Lumahai River close to Lumahai Beach is a pleasant idea, and time spent at Waikoko Beach is always delightful. There is a magnificent hiking trail right next door to Lumahai Beach called the Kalalau Trail. It is very dry here at Lumahai Beach generally; the month with most of the rain is January; July is when it's the driest. Summer at Lumahai Beach arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 60's with temperatures at Lumahai Beach dipping down into the 40's throughout winter nights. |
