it is a very popular destination. Hawaii has a lot of beaches. This is such a gorgeous section of shore. You'll meet a lot of people from Honolulu here; Kapoho Point is not far at all. At Kuahine you can spot Puu Nao, and don't forget to check out Kailua Bay since you're here.
| | There is a pleasant hiking trail near Kuahine called the Sacred Falls Trail, and time spent at Kalama Beach is always delightful. The Castle Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Kuahine, and a round of golf at nearby Bay View Golf Park Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Places like He'eia State Park are pleasant to stop at, and needless to say Maunawili Stream flows through this area. the Halawa Trail. During your stay at Kuahine do visit nearby Oneawa Beach, and this is a tremendous location in the shadow of the Oneawa Hills. If you're a golfer then a wonderful nearby course is Olomana Golf Links. Kuahine gets a good deal of water; during the month of November
you get the most rain around here, and September on the other hand is the driest. All through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Kuahine, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 70's, and overnight lows at Kuahine through the wintertime regularly sink into the 60's.
