is just the location. There's camping offered next to K Beach. The great water and the picturesque shoreline is a wonderful sight. Some of the water nearby flows, like Limahuli Stream, and don't leave K Beach without first checking out Phakukne. Paddling on Hanalei is so much fun,

A trip to Maniniholo Bay close to K Beach is always a good idea; hiking is a popular thing to do around K Beach; Mhihi Waialae Trail is a glorious local trail. On a pleasant day it's a magnificent idea to spend the day at Hanakpai Beach, and do schedule some time to check out Kalio Point if you have a chance. Man, is there lots of exciting stuff to do right next door to K Beach. the Kalalau Trail. The peak of Makana can be observed from K Beach, and a fine spot to explore nearby is Hauwa Reef. Ha'ena State Park is a good location to stretch your legs a bit, and there's glorious hiking along the Alakai Swamp Trail. Lots of folks from Kapaa come to K Beach.

Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 80's while the cold winter nights at K Beach are in the 60's. It is very dried out here at K Beach generally; January is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is July. |
