There aren’t any hotels in the vicinity but if you're willing to travel a small length then no problem but do reserve a room before you go as it is a very popular destination. | | you want to hit the beach, Keonehelelee is nearby, and 'Iao Valley State Monument is both good and pretty. Visiting Haleakala National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and on a nice day it's a nice idea to spend the day at Mokulia Beach. Put some time aside to spend at Waiakeakua since you're here at Keawalua, and a journey to Nakalele Point is always a great idea. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place.
