Beach, so little time. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Kaplehu Beach called the Kiholo-Puako Trail, and going for a hike on the Puako-Waimea Trail is always a great adventure. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff in the Wind River
Range. At Kaplehu Beach during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 70's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 70's with temperatures at Kaplehu Beach dipping down into the 60's during winter nights. From a rainfall point
