and pleasant hiking is available along the Kawailoa Trail. Kauhala is a good place of normal rainfall; January is the month that gets the most rain, and August on the other hand is the driest. At Kauhala all through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 70's, and nighttime lows in the 50's for Kauhala.
