Trail is nice fun. Puukumu Stream is a nice local stream; a golf course nearby is Princeville Golf Club. Hanapai is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Kauapea Beach. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kauapea Beach a wet site; the month of March is the
wettest with most of the rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. Through the summer months highs here at Kauapea Beach get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 60's, and overnight lows at Kauapea Beach throughout the winter generally plunge into the 40's.
