Don't forget to take a nice little journey to Waimea River, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Dupont Trail. A tour to Waimea Bay near Kaluahole is always a delightful idea; going for a hike along the Kawailoa Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. A visit to Pu'u o Mahuka Heiau State Monument when you're here at Kaluahole is a great idea, and an afternoon playing golf at Turtle Bay Country Club is always a delight. Now, you may assume that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Kaluahole. Kehu-o-Hapuu   * is a good place to check out while in the region, and if you want to hit the beach, Kapaeloa Beach is around here. Kalahopele Gulch is a tremendous site to have a look at near Kaluahole, and Waimea Point is not far at all. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Waimea Falls. From a rain point of view Kaluahole is a rather normal place; during January this area sees the most rain while August is usually the driest month. At Kaluahole all through the summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 70's with temperatures at Kaluahole dipping down into the 50's through winter nights.
