| | Finally, beach time has arrived again; Kalihiwai Beach in Kauai County, Hawaii is such a great site. There aren’t any lodgings in the vicinity but if you're prepared to journey a small distance then no problem and if you make reservations before heading out you're all set. Kalihiwai Beach doesn’t get scores of visitors, but it's always amusing to be here. Outdoors recreation is abundant; some of the cool things you can do are boating, whitewater paddling, fishing, swimming, golfing, and hiking, so it's out of the question to get bored. | | its proximity to Kauapea Beach. Get covered with water paddling on Hanalei, and don't leave Kalihiwai Beach without first checking out Hanapai. While you're here at Kalihiwai Beach you will meet lots of folks from close by Kapaa, and stopping by Ha'ena State Park is a tremendous thing to do. An afternoon playing golf at Princeville Golf Club is always a pleasure It's always glorious to pop by Kilauea Falls. | | Anini Reef is a magnificent place to spend some time. There are great sites to look at along the Kalalau Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kalihiwai Beach a wet place; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is September. The warmest time of the year at Kalihiwai Beach arrives with high temperatures in the 70's while nighttime lows are usually in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are usually in the 60's; night lows in the 40's for Kalihiwai Beach. |
