If you want to hit the beach, Maalaea Beach is in the vicinity, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Sandalwood Golf Course. Take a hike on the Lower Trail, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because MMK Maui LP Golf Course is close by. A journey to nearby Maalaea Bay is very relaxing; hiking along the Sliding Sands Trail is tremendous fun. You'll meet a lot of folks from Kahului-Wailuku here, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Halemauu Trail. For the duration of the summer months, highs usually are in the 80's at Kaleia while night lows are mostly in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 80's; winter nights come with lows in the 60's to Kaleia.
