Haleki'i-Pihana Heiau State Monument is worth stopping at if you're at Kaleia, and why not a little side tour to Waikapu       Stream. A golf course right next door to Kaleia is MMK Maui LP Golf Course, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Kahului-Wailuku here. An afternoon playing golf at King Kamehameha Golf Club is always a pleasure, and needless to say, all our national parks are splendid   places to go to and Haleakala National Park is no exception. A great deal of rain falls at Kaleia; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain while June is typically the driest month. All through the summertime highs here at Kaleia get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's.
