There's so much amusing things to do in the vicinity of Kalapana Beach including fishing, swimming, hiking, and boating, so becoming bored is not something that is projected to occur. away from the beach, and if you make reservations before heading out you're all set. The campgrounds here at Kalapana Beach are reasonably glorious. Kalaehiamoe is nearby and always great to go to, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Napau Crater Trail. Don't
| | leave Kalapana Beach without first checking out Lava Flow of 1750, and hiking along the Naulu Trail is tremendous fun. Going to MacKenzie State Park in the neighborhood of Kalapana Beach is a great thing to do; do take a hike on the Kalapana Trail. Hakuma Point is quite in close proximity to Kalapana Beach, and you must beyond doubt have a look at pretty Kaimu Beach while you're here. Just can't get enough of Kalapana Beach. Through the winter the highs are frequently in the 70's with winter lows in the 60's overnight here at Kalapana Beach. Kalapana Beach is a wet spot that gets a good deal of rain; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is June.
