If you are in Hawaii through the summer months you must stop at the beach. Some activities here are hiking, fishing, boating, golfing, and swimming, so lacking activities won't take place. A small number of lodgings in the vicinity, you'll have to journey a bit to get to one, but you'd better book in advance of a trip because these hotels fill up swiftly throughout the summertime months. You can pitch that tent or park your RV at a nearby     campground. At this section of shore you will always have a good time. Kailua Beach doesn’t have scores of amenities, but scores of people like to come here to be in close proximity to the water. He'eia State Park is a fine spot to take a look at on a delightful day, and you can go for a hike on the Sacred Falls Trail. Hit the beach if you want, Oneawa Beach is practically right here, and there are plenty of folks from Honolulu here. If you're a golfer then a nice nearby course is Luana Hills Country Club, and why not take a look at Kapoho Point also if you're here. On a good day it's a nice idea to spend the day at Kalama Beach, and it's a wonderful idea to visit Maunawili Stream. What a site this is for outdoors people. Golf can be played at Bay View Golf Park Golf Course, and Puu Nao is clearly visible from Kailua Beach. The       Oneawa Hills is a major characteristic of the neighborhood around Kailua Beach, and an afternoon playing golf at Olomana Golf Links is always a diversion. Kailua Bay is in close proximity and always great to stop at; going for a hike on the Castle Trail is always a glorious adventure.   There is a magnificent hiking trail in the neighborhood of Kailua Beach called the Halawa Trail. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Kailua Beach get into the 80's; the night is fairly cooler of course, commonly in the 70's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 80's, and nighttime lows throughout the wintertime for Kailua Beach tend to be in the 60's. Kailua Beach generally gets a good deal of rainfall; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while September is regularly the driest month.
