With so many beaches in Hawaii you'll not ever get bored. This is such an amusing segment of shoreline. You may have to settle for a hotel a away from the beach if you want to stay for a few days, but do reserve a room prior to departure because it is a very popular destination. Hinuhinu Pali is an exciting place to stop at while at Kahokunui, and close by Maunalei Gulch is a delightful spot to go. On a beautiful day you can check out Kuahua near Kahokunui. Not much precipitation falls here at Kahokunui; most of the rain falls during January; the driest of the months is August. Summertime highs at Kahokunui commonly tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 70's with temperatures at Kahokunui dipping down into the 60's throughout winter nights. | |
