Barking Sands doesn’t have scores of conveniences, but it's always fun to be here. Ok, enough of spending all this time inside a building, and Barking Sands in Kauai County, Hawaii is such an outstanding site. The campgrounds here at Barking Sands are pretty wonderful. There aren’t any rooms close at hand but if you're ok to travel a short length then no problem but you'd better book before heading out |

| | close by is Nualolo Kai Beach. Hiking along the Kalalau Trail is delightful fun, and Milolii Beach is a beach nearby that you can go to. Have a great hiking adventure along the Alakai Swamp Trail, and Waiakamoo Valley is also a perfect location to look at. A tour to close by Nohili Point is very relaxing, and a good location like Polihale State Park is too brilliant to leave out. in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 80's, and nighttime lows in the 60's for Barking Sands. Not much precipitation falls here at Barking Sands; January is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is July.
