South End Point is not far from West Silver Sands Beach at all; East Breakwater is not far at all from West Silver Sands Beach. Hammonasset River is a brilliant whitewater spot next to West Silver Sands Beach. West Silver Sands Beach is a wet location that gets a lot of rain; throughout
the month of May you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the summertime at West Silver Sands Beach highs are commonly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at West Silver Sands Beach are in the 20's.
