Cow and Calf is an interesting thing to make out if you're here at Silver Sands Beach, and on a beautiful day you can stop at Momauguin Beach. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hammonasset River; East Breakwater is an out of the ordinary thing to check out. leave Silver Sands Beach without first going for a hike along the Quinnipiac Trail. Forbes Bluff is an out of the ordinary spot to have a look at while at Silver Sands Beach, and taking a little tour to nearby South End Point is a good idea. A round of golf at nearby Twin Lakes
Golf Course is a good way to kill some time, and splendid hiking is available along the Regicides Trail. If you're here, you might as well pop by Quixes Ledge; there's good hiking along the West Woods Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a lot but there's even more exciting stuff
to do here at Silver Sands Beach. During your trip to Silver Sands Beach you'll meet some people from New Haven-Milford for sure. High temperatures at Silver Sands Beach all through the months of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. Highs all through
the winter are mostly in the 30's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Silver Sands Beach fall into the 20's. A large amount of rainfall falls at Silver Sands Beach; May is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest.
