Averys Hill is clearly visible from Shennecossett Beach, and for you golfers we recommend close by Birch Plain Golf Course & Driving Range. | | Beach is always a great idea. Taking a little journey to nearby Avery Point is a delightful idea, and golf can be played at Shennecossett Municipal Golf Course. Frank Ledge is a tremendous location to have a look at nearby, and why not visit Eastern Point also if you're here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Shennecossett Beach. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Shennecossett Beach are in the 10's. Shennecossett Beach is a wet spot that gets a great deal of rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here; the driest month is June. |
